-The Marriage Braid procedure involves the bride, groom, and representatives of the bride and groom (usually parents).
-The Marriage Braid (with the center cord representing God) is in place on the stage prior to the beginning of the ceremony.
-Then, instead of the moms lighting candles, mom and dad (or representatives) take the bride's and groom's cords and attach them to the frame.
-After the vows, the bride and groom braid the Marriage Braid.
